There are 6 requirements from the City of Germantown to Apply for Decorative Street Sign Posts.
Below is the list of the Permit Application Requirements
and our progress on them so far.
- A drawing showing the location of all existing sign posts, including but not limited to Street Signs,
Regulatory Signs (speed limit, yield signs, etc.), and Neighborhood Watch Signs for the neighborhood, subdivision or homeowner’s association. Completed Drawing click here.
- A drawing showing the location of all proposed decorative street sign posts/sign brackets for the neighborhood, subdivision or homeowner’s association. Completed Drawing, click here.
- A drawing of the neighborhood, subdivision, or homeowner’s association logo to go on the street sign

- A letter from the Neighborhood, Subdivision, or Homeowner’s Association granting approval of the
Decorative Street Sign Post and cost sharing arrangement as stated below. Completed Letter click here.
- A proposed schedule for the installation of the new decorative street sign posts/sign brackets.

- A $50.00 application check, made payable to the City of Germantown. (Check has been submitted with
all drawings and applications on May 15th. 2007)
